Saturday, April 27th, 10 AM - 5 PM at the Halifax Central Library, Room 301.

Who is this opportunity suitable for? 

Local Businesses, Business Organizations and Non-profits & Social Enterprises.

How much does it cost? 

Vendor Fee: $300 *tax included

Reduced Rate: $200 (for non-profits and social enterprises)

What does the vendor fee include?

  • 1 vendor table & chair (or 6 ft space if vendor has a display that doesn't require a table)

  • 1 Conference Pass (This is for one person only, there is an additional $50 fee which will be administered if the vendor is bringing a non-essential helper to accompany them. *non-essential refers to anyone who is accompanying for reasons unrelated to accessibility.

  • Digital Marketing: 1 social media post (Facebook or Instagram), digital attendee profile & vendor logo on website.

There are two designated time frames (*please see times listed below), for vendors to showcase their products and services. However, vendors will remain set-up for the entire duration of the event, and will be positioned with-in viewing distance of the stage, to ensure that they'll be able to enjoy all of the presentations.

  •  10 AM - 11 AM (coffee social) and 4 PM - 5 PM (reception)

Vendor Policies

  • Vendor fees must be paid in full at the time of the booking via e-transfer to reserve spot. An invoice will be issued once the vendor is confirmed to be a suitable fit for this event by email.

  • Vendor fees are non-refundable under any circumstances, unless the event is cancelled.

  • Vendor spaces are very limited, therefore Supernova Events reserves the right to not accept a vendor who is not a suitable fit for this event. Please contact us if you are unsure, thanks.

  • Vendors are responsible for their own parking expenses.

  • Vendor setup and teardown times: 9:15 AM - 10 AM (set-up) and 5 PM - 5:45 PM (teardown)

  • Free public Wi-fi is available, however Supernova Events is not the provider and therefore takes no responsibility for the safety or quality of the connection.

  • Vendors are solely responsible for their products and personal belongings at all times.

  • Vendors are not permitted to pack-up early.

  • This is a professional event and therefore vendors are expected to act in a professional manner, and to not do anything that could jeopardize the integrity of the event.

  • Vendors are required to remove any garbage that they accumulate and it is mandatory that they exit the venue no later then 5:45 PM. No exceptions will be made, sorry.

  • Due to the professional nature of this event, we do not accept vendors selling adult products/services or smoking related products.

Supernova Conference is a grassroots event that is looking for volunteers. Whether you are available for the entire day or just a couple of hours to help set-up, we want to hear from you. If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out the application form below and we will get back to you as soon as possible. **Please include which volunteer role(s) you are interested in, thanks.

We are actively recruiting volunteers for the following roles:

  • Tickets & Administration (10 AM - 11 AM) - Greeting guests and checking tickets.

  • Set-up and/or teardown Crew (9 AM - 10 AM) and/or (5 PM - 6 PM) - Assist vendors and stage crew. 

  • Server (1 PM - 5 PM): Make rounds to offer attendees light refreshments and clean-up any spills.

  • Stage Crew (10 AM - 5 PM) - Assist presenters, set-changes, music, slide shows etc.

  • Tech Support (10 AM - 5 PM) - Manage mics, slideshows, music and lighting.

  • Floater (10 AM - 5 PM) - Give directions, answering questions, and other small tasks as needed. 

* You must be 19+ to participate as a volunteer at the Supernova Conference.
