Hi there! I’m Jacquelyn Miccolis, and I’m excited to welcome you to Watercolors on Tap™! For those I haven’t met yet, I’m a local artist and dedicated workshop facilitator. While running my brick-and-mortar, “Sparkles n’ Sawdust Studio,” I had the joy of sharing my love for creativity with hundreds of wonderful adults over the years. I'm thrilled to be back behind the paintbrush with all of you!

 

What Can You Expect?

 

2:00 - 3:00 PM - You will be welcomed into a warm and friendly atmosphere. ​During the first hour, you'll sip on a beverage while I guide you through basic watercolor techniques to help you feel at ease.

3:00 PM - 4:00 PM - This is a chance to network with fellow participants. Enjoy building authentic relationships and explore potential collaborations in a relaxed setting. Food and beverages will be available for purchase, making it easy to enjoy a snack or another drink while you socialize.

4:00 PM - 5:00 PM -  I’ll walk you through creating loose doodle art using fine-point ink, layered with beautiful washes of watercolor. Watercolors are fantastic because they create stunning, translucent swirls of color without staining your clothes or making a mess. By the end of the session, you will leave with a finished painting, new connections, and great memories!

 

What Do You Need to Bring?

 

Just bring your wonderful self! We’ll have a list of everyone who’s registered, so no need to print your ticket, let’s save some trees! We provide all the supplies you’ll need for your painting. Just a quick note: all art supplies are for use during the event and can’t be taken home.

 

Who Is This Event For?

 

This creative experience is designed for adults 19 and older. Sorry, no exceptions! We love welcoming people from all walks of life to unwind and relax before the start of a new week. You don’t need any artistic skills or experience to participate, just a willingness to have fun! Every ticket includes admission plus one refreshing beverage of your choice (up to $8.50, before tax). Whether you prefer something spirited or a delightful non-alcoholic option, we’ve got you covered!

 

Accessibility Note:

 

This event is held on the upper floor of the Oxford Taproom. Due to the large staircase that leads to this cozy oasis, it is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.

 

How Do I Sign Up?

 

Tickets can be purchased exclusively online in advance. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate last-minute sign-ups or in-person ticket sales.

 

Where Can I Park?

 

Most side streets in the surrounding area offer free parking, and there is also a main bus stop just around the corner, making it easy to get there.

 

What Is the Refund Policy?

 

All ticket sales are final, so please make sure that you are able to attend before purchasing. If you can’t make it, feel free to give your ticket to a friend who can come in your place! In the rare case of extreme weather conditions or if I happen to get sick, we’ll reschedule for another Sunday and let you know by e-mail.​​
