Q1. Who should attend the Supernova Conference?


A1.This event was specifically designed for entrepreneurs and creators. However, at SNC, we welcome everyone, regardless of their industry. We don’t discriminate!


Q2. Is parking available?


A2. Currently, the Halifax Central Library offers electronic metered paid underground parking for up to 70 spots at $1/hour on weekends to a daily maximum of $5. Please note attendees are responsible for paying for their own individual parking. Free street parking can be found in the surrounding area on weekends however, is subject to availability. Please arrive early if you plan on obtaining street parking.


Q3. Will there be food and/or beverages provided?


A3. Freshly brewed coffee will be served beginning at 10 AM during our networking social. This will kick-off the conference and help to get you acquainted with speakers and attendees.


There will be a lunch-break from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM and the conference room will be locked during this time period, while we prepare for the second portion of the event. Attendees are welcome to bring a lunch and consume it while enjoying some fresh air on the outdoor terrace. Alternatively, you can purchase a lunch locally from one of the many food establishments, that are only a few foot-steps away on Spring Garden Road or the surrounding area.


To conclude the conference, we are hosting a marvellous reception in the same venue. This will be a priceless opportunity to socialize, network and build connections. Attendees will get to enjoy a non-alcoholic beverage and light refreshments. Please note that vegan-friendly options will be available.


Q4. How do I vote for a subject/topic for the Q & A session?


A4. All ticket holders will receive an email once the voting zone opens and you will be able to easily cast your vote directly through our website. Please note that if you purchase a ticket last minute (after March 31st) you will unfortunately not be included in the voting, sorry! Therefore, we encourage you to commit as early as possible and reserve your seat.


Q5. How do I get listed on the attendee page?


A5. When you purchase a ticket to SNC 2024, you will be prompted with this option, which you can either opt-in or out of. Our attendee page will be updated on a monthly basis therefore we encourage you to register as early as possible, if you want to reap the benefits of having digital marketing exposure. *The list of attendees is not exhaustive, as it comprises only those who have chosen to participate.


Q6. Are there any health and safety protocols for this event?


A6. Sanitizer, sanitizing wipes, disinfectant spray, and disposable masks are provided in the room for your use. Attendees are not required to wear a mask however, we do encourage you to hand sanitize before/after eating or drinking. Please be respectful of others, by staying home if you are feeling unwell, or if you have tested positive to covid-19. Thank you for your cooperation and helping us keep everyone safe and healthy.


Q7. Are marketing opportunities available for this event?
